I recently spoke to Deborah at Park Foster Care because I was interested in becoming a foster carer but wanted to learn more about what it involved and how it would potentially impact the whole family. We have worked for Park Foster Care for 7 years now and highly recommend it. Full support, attachment, therapeutic and nurturing training as well as much, much more. Helpful friendly and great support, not judgmental or condescending at all. All foster carers also help each other and can chat informally and make each other feel supported and make new friends.

Genuine caring people who go above and beyond to care, not just for the children but for the Foster carers too! They are understanding, flexible and take a really personal approach to their work. Could not recommend them enough.

The process has been very thorough but this is a good thing. It has helped us to understand LAC (child looked after) needs and how to deal with them. Park have been very professional and helpful. Although intense at times, I feel it has been a beneficial process and I feel more prepared and ready for the fostering task.

EJ is a super foster brother; he’s gone from being an only child to one of 4 and has totally taken this in his stride. He is a really good role model regarding education and helps his foster sister with her reading, spellings and times tables. He’s very patient with the toddlers too and plays with them, teaching them lots of new things. His foster sister says "he’s the best foster brother ever, he’s funny and plays with me"
