A Warm Welcome

This year, newly approved Foster Carers K&R recently welcomed their first foster child into their home.

Following her visit, the placing Local Authority Service Manager gave a special thanks to the family and stated: “I know this was your first time fostering (which unless you had said I wouldn’t have known) but both you and your daughter acted like this was something you had experience with and I was astounded by your daughters open, friendly, warm welcome she gave. I imagine it was a daunting experience for her also”.

The Fostering Network’s Sons & Daughter’s month (October) places a bright spotlight on the invaluable role that Foster Carer’s children play within their fostering family and Park are so very proud of each and everyone of you.
